Happy Fourth of July!

Wow! We are counting our blessings! We are so grateful for Wade to be with us. We had a very special day with fellow Marines. It was really nice. We went to another recruiter's house with three other Marine families and they really know how to put on a fireworks show! Wade set up the jumpee in the back yard for the kids and it was a really nice day. We became friends with one of Wade's recruits, he's at bootcamp right now. His dad is a ret. USMC Captain, so the boys had a ball swapping stories.
God bless the USA! Semper Fi!

Beach and having fun in the city!

Beach and Dakota will be FIVE!

Dakota is really into magic now and so although it was a tough choice between Hulk and magic, he decided to have a magic theme for his birthday this year.

My sister Ellen got a Mustang convertable this summer. The gals (mom and sissies) took a morning out for a spin her the new wheels!

We go to the Dunes and although I am already tired of the sand, the boys seem to enjoy every minute!

Father's Day

This is how we spent Father's Day. Wade was really excited to get to go his first Nascar Race. We went with Kristie and Brad who live nearby in South Bend. She is my girlfriend from high school. Also, the last picture is of our makeshift "pool" in the backyard! "You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl!"
The neighbors love the good use of this 10ft diameter horse trough!

Lincoln's Party and Swimlessons

Lincoln had an Elmo party and Dakota went to swim lessons at the middle school.

Vacation Bible School and a trip to Ohio

We went to Bible school with our cousins and spent a day in Ohio visiting Great Grandma and mommy's cousin Laura, after she had her third baby.

Time with Grandpa

We are so lucky to have such a great grandpa! Here are some pictures of one of our days in New Haven on the farm with grandpa. Catching fish at the pond and riding tractor... ah, real summer fun!
